About
Toys on the Brain is written by me, Caitlin, during my rare moments of quiet while taking care of two active little boys and their newborn sister. Why do I write it? Well, I’ve always loved toys; becoming a nanny was more about getting a legitimate reason to play with toys than anything else! Ok, I guess the kids are all right too…
In the course of my job, I’ve found myself researching numerous toys, but usually have discovered reviews to be either not informative or completely nonexistent. Therefore, I have set myself with remedying this situation. Here I hope you’ll find true, in depth reviews of toys and kids products that will help you choose what out there is good, bad, and just plain dangerous for your kids.
Toys on the Brain is thrilled to have another writer on board!
Rhonda is the mom of two young boys whose toys are occasionally scattered on the floor and the wife of a grown-up boy whose action figures and Lego creations always adorn the bookshelves in their home. Her favorite toys are those that inspire creativity and encourage childhood development while putting smiles on kids’ faces.
My goal is to provide one review/news item per day, though naturally “real life” may occasionally interfere. If you have a toy you’d like to write about, feel free to send me your review and I’ll see if I can get it posted. Or, if you’re interested in writing toy reviews on a more regular basis, send me an email and let me know!
